Faucet installation in Mississauga is rarely a single tap. The 1980s and 1990s two-storeys in Erin Mills, Meadowvale and Applewood came with a main bathroom, an ensuite, a powder room and often a basement bath, and each one has been updated at a different time by a different owner.
So I get asked to bring the whole house back to one look. I replace faucets, shower heads, toilets, drains, supply lines and shut-off valves, and I price the full list before starting.
The pattern here is four bathrooms in four different decades. A Meadowvale or Erin Mills two-storey might have a widespread faucet in the ensuite, a centreset in the main bath, and a builder single-lever in the powder room, each with a different hole spacing. I measure every deck before you buy anything, because the wrong spread means a new sink, not just a new tap. Around Square One the picture changes to condo suites where the shut-off hides in a ceiling access panel or a closet.
